What these details represent
Organization details describe the workspace, not the person currently signed in. The page includes organization name, short name, email, phone, and website.
Review and save
- Check the organization name and short name.
- Enter the shared contact details appropriate for this workspace.
- Review the changes and use the save action.
- If saving fails, read the error and confirm your access and plan.
Why the name matters
The organization name can be used in outgoing document-email context. Choose a name recipients will recognize. The short name is a compact workspace identifier; follow the field guidance before saving.
Confirmation status
The page can show whether organization details are confirmed, skipped, or not yet confirmed. Review the displayed status and date when checking setup completeness.
Who can make changes
Editing depends on the controls, workspace permissions, and plan available to your account. Disabled fields or actions do not mean the organization has been deleted.
Related settings
Use Team to manage people and access. Use your personal profile for your own account information. Changing organization contact details does not connect a sending mailbox; email accounts are managed separately.
Save and check shared details
- Edit the fields enabled for your role, then use Save.
- Read errors and confirmation state rather than assuming that leaving the form saved it.
- Organization contact information does not connect Gmail, Outlook, or SMTP. Use Email senders for that connection.
