Different kinds of data
- Documents: stored according to the selected storage workflow.
- Workspace records: document metadata, extracted information, classification results, and references used for review and history.
- Temporary processing data: uploads and artifacts used by a processing job.
- Local data: downloaded files, generated PDFs, caches, and settings on your device.
- Operational records: delivery, authentication, and other logs described in the privacy notice.
Different actions remove different things
Read each confirmation to understand whether it affects a record, a local output file, a source document, or an account. Clearing visible history and deleting the underlying file are not interchangeable.
Disconnecting a service
Disconnecting removes or interrupts the app’s access to that connection. It is not a request to delete every document held by that provider.
Split cleanup
Split history, generated output, and original PDFs have different cleanup controls. Automatic deletion settings apply to the local workflow described in the Split guide.
Retention and account deletion
Retention varies by data category and processing path. Use the privacy notice for the published retention details and the account deletion flow for the consequences of closing an account. Do not assume all copies and logs disappear instantly.
Check other copies
Downloaded files, emailed attachments, and copies held by external recipients can remain outside the app’s deletion controls.
