AI Sortify

Last updated: July 2, 2026

These Terms govern your use of AI Sortify, including the website, desktop app, mobile app, accounts, subscriptions, AI-assisted document processing, Google Drive workflows, team features, backend/API services, and support services.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, signing in, connecting Google Drive, purchasing a subscription, accessing the website, or using AI Sortify, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use AI Sortify for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Service description

AI Sortify provides AI-assisted document classification, file naming, document splitting, metadata extraction, folder generation, Google Drive organization, email/document automation where enabled, desktop and mobile app workflows, web/account services, backend/API services, team/workspace management, dashboards, and subscription-based usage limits.

3. Accounts and security

4. User content and permissions

You retain ownership of documents, files, instructions, organization data, and other content you provide to AI Sortify. You grant AI Sortify the limited rights needed to host, transmit, process, analyze, classify, rename, organize, display, and otherwise handle that content to provide the service.

You represent that you have the rights and lawful basis needed to upload, scan, connect, process, or organize any documents or data you submit, including personal data, employee data, customer data, invoices, receipts, tax documents, payroll documents, or other business records.

5. Google Drive workflows

If you connect Google Drive, you authorize AI Sortify to perform the Drive-related actions shown in the app, which may include creating folders, reading selected file/folder metadata, scanning selected folders, moving files, renaming files, organizing documents, and maintaining a root AI Sortify folder. You can disconnect Google Drive in the app and/or revoke access in your Google account settings.

You are responsible for reviewing Drive actions and ensuring that folder structures, file names, and file movements are appropriate for your needs.

6. AI results and user review

AI Sortify uses AI to assist with classification, extraction, naming, and routing. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your intended use. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated results, file names, extracted fields, folder destinations, and workflow decisions before relying on them.

AI Sortify is not a tax, accounting, legal, medical, financial, or compliance advisor. Do not rely on AI Sortify as a substitute for professional review where professional judgment is required.

7. Subscriptions, billing, and auto-renewal

8. Usage limits and fair use

Plans may include limits for document classifications, document splits, email rules, team members, storage, AI processing, or other features. AI Sortify may enforce limits, prevent abuse, throttle excessive usage, or require plan changes for usage that materially exceeds normal service operation.

9. Acceptable use

You must not:

10. Business and regulated content

AI Sortify may be used for business document workflows, but you are responsible for determining whether the service is appropriate for your regulatory, retention, confidentiality, tax, accounting, employment, or industry-specific obligations. Do not upload highly sensitive or regulated content unless you have confirmed that your use is lawful and suitable.

11. Privacy and data processing

Personal data is handled under the Privacy Policy. If AI Sortify processes personal data on behalf of a business customer, the Data Processing Agreement applies unless a separate written agreement is signed.

12. Third-party services

AI Sortify depends on third-party services such as Supabase, Google APIs, Google Drive, Google Cloud/backend services, AI providers, Apple, Google Play, RevenueCat, Expo, and email/support providers. Their services may be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, availability, and limitations. AI Sortify is not responsible for third-party service outages, policy changes, account restrictions, or data handling outside AI Sortify's control.

13. Service changes and availability

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We work to keep AI Sortify available, but the service may be interrupted by maintenance, failures, third-party outages, security events, or changes required by app stores, providers, or law.

14. Termination

You may stop using AI Sortify at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create security risk, fail to pay where applicable, misuse the service, or if required by law or a platform/provider. Termination does not automatically cancel an app store subscription; you must cancel subscriptions through the relevant store.

15. Disclaimers

AI Sortify is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect classification accuracy, error-free AI output, or that the service will meet every legal, business, accounting, or compliance requirement.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Sortify and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits; loss of data; business interruption; or damages caused by user instructions, AI errors, third-party services, or unauthorized use. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
